New terminal window.
New implement of terminal log window. It is compatible with most of VT100 terminal protocol. It can show show file, folder in colorful scheme. With Quick Send, Send Data List and auto send features, it is much better tool than Hyper Terminal, or regular terminal program. Send data list can send all commands to terminal automatically in turn. This is very handy when develop application with embedded linux, like Lantronix XPort Pro, or Beagleboard, Bealgebone, etc.
It is also good to learn how terminal protocol works, as you can test the same command in Standard Log Window and see those control characters.
Support HTTP connection.
Comm Operator can send HTTP request now. All traffic can be see from log window. It is great help when develop and test server’s cgi. Especially when you develop a cgi program on embedded device.
Just type the relative url of the server and in quick send window and send it, it is easy! All request can be saved to send data list automatically. All send request in send list can be send in turn at the specific interval. Say, emulate a GPS device update the position to server, you don’t have to go out and just ran same router again and again. This will save tons of time!
Remote Access
You can access the content of the log window from browser remotely. For a lot of wireless application, range test is very important. The problem is that it is hard to see the both side status at the same time. With remote access, you can!
